Igniting Change for Women+ Across New Mexico

Legal Services Update

Scroll

We are heartbroken to share that we have lost the funding that supported our legal services program for survivors of domestic violence in family law matters. As a result, as of July 1, 2026, we are no longer accepting new intakes and referrals for legal representation or legal advice through this program. If anything changes, we will provide updates.

This program provided free legal representation and legal advice for survivors navigating custody, child support, and protection order cases, often during some of the most vulnerable and dangerous moments of their lives in the Pueblo courts. Although we can no longer provide direct legal services through this program, we will continue to do our best to connect callers with other legal resources that may be available.

This loss is devastating for the survivors and families who relied on these services. Survivors deserve access to justice, safety, and support. We remain committed to fighting for systems that protect and uplift women+, girls+, and families across New Mexico.
